This website exists primarily to assist my Franciscan sisters and brothers and other friends in their pastoral, liturgical, and sacramental ministry.
Many of these thoughts have been germinating in my head for many years. Some of this material I have taken from my lecture notes for courses given 1976-1981 at Saint Leonard College, Dayton Ohio. In those days, we were not as aware of copyright and accuracy of citation as we are today. Since beginning this website in November, 2000, every effort has been made to acknowledge sources. Any failure to comply with the United States Copyright Act (Title 17, United States Code) will be corrected immediately should I become aware of it. If you find any place where I have cited another person's work without acknowledging their authorship, please bring this to my attention by clicking on the address below and I will correct it immediately.
I intend the material on this website to be read only by persons who have had some theological training. I realize that not all readers may be "ready" for this information. Be advised that I am writing these pages primarily for those who have sufficient background not to be harmed by them.
While I am a member of St. John the Baptist Province of the Order of Friars Minor and a professor at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, neither of these organizations has any connection with this website nor do they in any way have any supervision of, or responsibility for, the materials posted here.
I am currently employed by Saint Meinrad Archabbey as professor of Liturgy and Sacramental Theology in their Seminary and School of Theology and I have placed all materials which relate specifically to courses that I teach at Saint Meinrad (student assignments, student responses, grades, communications etc. on MOODLE at http://moodle.saintmeinrad.edu These pages are password protected and are available only to students who have registered for the courses.
